Journey to becoming Mr. & Mrs. A.

It was extremely cold this morning.
Harmattan feel was present.

A Monday morning.
Students and pupils have resumed.
Workers were in full gear for work.

Said my prayers.
Reminisced some more.
Checked my 'now boring mobile'.

It was time to get prepped for the day.
Sluggishly, rolled to the side of the bed, caught myself right at the edge.
Up, pulled up my towel and headed for my morning shower.
It was cold, i was getting late, obviously no time for water heating.

In few minutes, out she was.

All on my mind is the distance to be covered in such a short time. Google map to the rescue. She found the fastest route and she headed for work.

5:45am, dark and foggy.

Mr. A., on his side of the bed, yawned - not because it was wake-up time, but because he geared for whatever number round of sleep.

He owns his time, money and business.
Soon to be Mrs A. was up and almost set to head out.
Since, he was up, they said a quick prayer - the counsellor said what you do in the process of knowing each other will stay if well nurtured.

They intend to have God with them all the way, so they do all they can to nurture their devotion.

Pleasantries exchanged.
Goodbyes were shared.
And the day is staring sweetly with the dark blue sky and soft gentle breeze.

Lagos, the home of hustlers.
